2021 Updates
It’s been a long time since we’ve updated the Blog, sorry about that! Most of our updates have been going right on to our Facebook, Discord and Steam Community Hub pages. We thought it was time, though, to update our site and let you all know what’s going on with us!
We’ve been hard at work on the game, having put out a well-received Halloween 2020 trailer made up of footage from playtests we had conducted. We are even hard at work on another trailer we plan to release in the near future!
There has been excellent progress on our gore and dismemberment systems, zombie behaviors, senses and navigation systems. Our zombies are now more lethal and more effective than ever before. They can navigate complex spaces and use their three senses to detect and close in on players. There has also been great strides on our game loop for extraction, to make the goals clear and the game more enjoyable and tense. There hae been plenty of bug fixes and optimization, to make our play sessions smoother and better and make the game more presentable and hopefully get in your hands faster! There are big things coming, and our progress has been strong. Of course we wish we could work faster but as we always say this is a project of passion that we have to squeeze in around our real lives, but that won’t stop us from delivering the best zombie game possible.
Thank you everyone for your continued support and we’ll have more exciting news to share real soon!

May 3, 2021 at 12:28 amI cant wait for this to come out!! I am a late comer to No More Room In Hell. I wasn’t playing when it released, I discovered it a long time after many had already left the game. However, as old as the game is it still has a dedicated playerbase that gives me and many other new comers a reason to come to it. Like a lot of others I instantly loved the slower pace and added difficulty of the infection and cure system along with the atmosphere. When I heard there was a sequel coming, Excitement doesn’t do the feeling justice. Appreciate the hard work you guys have put in to giving us a new experience! We Cant Wait!

June 6, 2021 at 10:07 amIt looks great and you can tell it’s a game made by passionate people but…
… there are some things which seriously bother me.
1. The way people turn into zombies just looks goofy af, I’m sorry. The original process (you just fall down and slowly raise as a notable threath, a runner) was just more suspensful and looked more serious.
2. Your average ”zombie Joe” just moves too slowly and they feel less menacing compared to the original game and I feel like some of them look a bit silly with their hands being too far forward, almost like some goofy dude trying to pretend to be a zombie.
I also hope to see these following things in the new game:
1. The vaccine being removed. A bite should be the end, the clock ticking for you. It’s a major part of the zombie lore and having a vaccine just feels wrong and takes away a big threath.
2. We need a Dawn of the Dead 2004 mode with all-runners.
Either way, it looks fantastic and I’m sure to buy it if it keeps the course, just please fix those things.
